“The Photographer from the Venue”

Did you know it makes absolutely NO difference if a photographer has/hasn’t shot at your venue before? From time to time, we meet couples that were told incorrect information, and they say “oh I am looking for a photographer that knows my venue”. A statement purely from misinformation. Don't look for candidates based on this as you limit yourself to how beautiful your photos come out and you may book the wrong person based on a factor that makes absolutely no difference. An excellent photographer knows where all the good photos take place within minutes of taking a look at a place and will give you a better gallery compared to a photographer that has shot at your venue a thousand times. Good photographers bring the same equipment to every wedding, and the laws of lighting are the same no matter where. Knowing the architecture of a place beforehand does not affect the photography, especially if a photographer is there for hours.
